It’s wedding week for our bride, Danni Morrison. After many months of planning and organising, the day is finally in sight for Danni and our team. We check in with Danni to see how she is going so close to the event, and all her last-minute touches.

Has your workout/nutrition routine changed in preparation for the wedding? Also, has it been beneficial for your mental and emotional wellbeing as you navigate such a busy time?

Absolutely! I can be an anxious personal in general, so a balanced diet and exercise are a huge part of my life. I have been training with my PT for 3 years in August, and he has prepared me for my big day. It’s important to me personally to look and feel the best I can on my wedding day, but it also keeps the anxiety at bay.

What can you tell me about the planning side of things this far out?

Well except for organising things at home and ensuring I pack everything I need (e.g my dress lol), Mask has really covered everything. Bek organised, booked and paid for all my suppliers, so I only needed to pay one invoice. Easy! I’ve been complemented so many times about my lack of stress, but really, everything is done! Well at least I think it is. Haha.

What else had been important to you this close to the wedding?

Aside from the spray tan, lashes, nails and brow bookings, my skin has been high on the agenda. There’s been all sorts of treatments so far, but I’ll be undergoing LED light treatment and epi-blading a couple of days before our big day.

Tell us, what’s happening 2 days out?

Oh lordy, Mask Events will be well in charge of the reigns from here! By then, I’ll most likely be off somewhere in total melt down mode about something completely stupid and insignificant, so Bek will literally be my everything from here. The team will help me pack up my styling pieces and furniture, deliver it to Spicers and bump in both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. My Fiancé and I have brekkie organised with family on Friday morning, but after that it’ll be 100% planning and logistics mode.

What are the final touches you’ll need to check on?

I’m having a garden arbour made by my Father in Law and my Mum is making some beautiful sheers curtains to hang on the arbour. (Lovely wedding gifts, I know! x). I’ll need to ensure these are ready, transported safely to the venue and installed correctly. Again, thanks Bek! I’ll be picking up the Groomsmen’s custom suits, my dress and I’ll need to confirm the bridesmaids attire fit. I have a beautiful pregnant bridesmaid, so ensuring her outfit is appropriate for a growing belly has been a work in progress. She’s going to look amazing!

We know you’ve recently met up with Bek and your florist to confirm the finer details, can you tell us anything about this?

No! haha. Just kidding. My florist has been a gift from heaven – she’s been in the game a long time and knows how to create something spectacular. The brief I’ve given to her is big, bold, structured and beautiful. Lots of large greenery, white and a touch of blue. Standard Hamptons yes, but they’ll be some surprises. Bek and Sandi will be working together to create something really special in the reception area. Stay tuned… With a ‘studio’ like this one, how can I go wrong with them… Look at it!

So that’s us over and out now until you’re officially Mrs Murray! We can’t wait to plan, style and celebrate with you this weekend.

Thank you, Team Mask! You guys have been nothing short of amazing and I guess that’s why I’m not stressed – I have the professionals there to ensure our day runs as it should. I can’t wait to marry the man of my dreams. See you all on the other side and stay tuned for bulk wedding photo spam!
