This month, Mask Events had the pleasure of developing and installing a high-end, contemporary medieval dinner for one of our wonderful corporate clients in the beautiful Noosa Woods.
Guests attending the Leadership Dinner, began their journey from the Sofitel foyer on Hastings Street and made their way via foot into Noosa Woods, a grassed opening set beside the Noosa river at the end of popular Hastings Street.
To create a sense of intrigue, guests were met by a juggling court jester dressed in authentic medieval attire as they made their way down the path. The jester guided guests towards the event location.

As guests moved further into the woods, through a path a light with tiki torchers, they interacted with a beautiful barn owl, its handler and our inspirational guest speaker.
Arriving at the clearing, guests were greeted by waitstaff at the sperry tent we had set up as the main event location. Champagne, beer and delicious canapes flowed, with a DJ setting the mood with a contemporary twist on medieval tunes. The sun set on the party as they enjoyed the pre-drink atmosphere.

The medieval mood inside the tent was set with unique and textural florals built upon the tent poles to frame the space.
We paired large wooden feasting tables with dark walnut chairs to pay tribute to a classic medieval dining hall.
A long and lush arrangement of rich blooms, fur stoles and black pillar candles adorned each table and provided WOW! factor to the room. The twinkling candles set a beautiful mood inside the tent after the sun went down.

The front of the dining hall featured a professional sound and AV set up including two 65” LCD screens to provide optimal viewing of the evening’s presentations for all attendees.
Guests enjoyed a mouth-watering 3 course menu along with a selection of sparkling wine, white wine, red wine, beer and soft drinks.
At 7:15pm, guests were treated to a dramatic and choreographed fire show by three beautiful and authentically dressed rose maidens.

A DJ dressed as Robin Hood delivered beats throughout the night, keeping the energy flowing within the space. By end of night, she encouraged action on the dance floor and a complete night of revelry.
Even with a major storm dumping a severe downpour of rain just prior to guest arrival, the Mask team worked together to overcome the issues caused by all the water. The show must (and did) go on! A super fun evening of medieval revelling and celebration for the all involved!
