A Fresh New Brand for Lake Kawana Community Centre.
One of the most diverse and adaptable event venues on the Sunshine Coast, Lake Kawana Community Centre now has a new brand identity to fit their well-earned reputation.
Mask Events love using this venue with our corporate clients and school formals. One of the biggest seated gala venues on the Sunshine Coast, it can cater for a wide range of events and guest numbers. A banquet/cabaret setup will comfortably host 450 people, and a standing event can cater to a crowd of 1,400!
The sheer size of the venue makes it the perfect choice for performance events, and over the years the venue have hosted many amazing performances. With a commitment to providing an exceptional space and experience for the community to enjoy cultural and creative events, Venue 114 really deliver the goods.
Mask have had the pleasure of styling and coordinating two events, in the last few weeks, at this awesome venue. The first was a fundraising event for the very worthwhile cause at EndED – a wonderful charity who provide tools and support for those whose lives have been affected by Eating Disorders. This event raised much-needed funds for the first live-in eating disorder clinic on the Sunshine Coast.
The second was the launch of the venue’s own rebrand! This launch party was an opportunity to showcase the diversity of the space for a huge variety of event types. A Welcome to Country theme ran through the interior, and we had a LOT of fun creating the entry.
Free-standing signage featuring the new logo and branding aesthetic and digital sparklers welcomed guests to the launch. They were then transported on a journey from old to new through a time-tunnel, complete with lasers and mist for ultimate effect. A showcase of the different celebrations and performances the venue has hosted over the years and a vision of what the venue has now become worked to exemplify the diversity of Venue 114.
Venue 114 is a dream space for our event stylists and event planners, as the blank canvas allows us to unleash our creativity for any themed events. We can bring in our best Sunshine Coast caterers and enjoy the benefits of Venue 114’s highly accommodating team. And, of course, it’s a dream space for clients and guests. The beautiful outdoor courtyard is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or mingling at intermission on those balmy Sunshine Coast evenings. As a performance space, Venue 114 has everything you could need. Extensive lighting and AV are all included with venue hire. But if you don’t need the stage why not make the most of the sunset for your guests like we did?
